The key component of BSIE’s precise utility location services is the ability to capture all the information accurately by means of modern day state-of-the-art survey technologies. BSIE will typically use our clients existing Horizontal and Vertical control networks, but in many instances, BSIE will establish survey control for a project under any given coordinate system.

Equipment such as bluetooth electronic total Stations and bluetooth data collectors ensure BSIE field crews can capture the results with precision, speed and accuracy. The results are downloaded into a CADD system (AutoCAD or Microstation) and processed by a BSIE Engineer. Subsequent to the quality control checks all results are incorporated into the projects contract documents.
